BSDA Annual Show at Northumberland County

Agricultural Show 31st May 2010

This year was the eighth time we held it in conjunction with the Northumberland County Agricultural Show and I think that the venue and occasion are going to ensure that it keeps growing and the high standard of previous shows will be maintained

There were  267 sticks entered in the 20 classes up on last year and 50+  in three exhibition stands. As usual the tent attracted a continuous steam of visitors and  it is still one of the biggest in the country. There were 18 sticks in the new ‘Ladies Class’ and the winning entries in the Novice classes were good  enough to win open classes in other shows which bodes well for the future.

Demonstrations on the day were by Alistair McCormick and Margaret Atkinson.
