Entry Fee: 30p per stick
Prize Money per class: 1st £ 5, 2nd £4, £2
Class 1 Ornamental Stick Carved. Heel and Nose.
Class 2 Fancy Horn Stick. Carved Nose only.
Class 3 Horn Head Walking Stick, Plain.
Class 4 Shepherd's Crook, Horn Headed.
Class 5 Thumb Stick, Wood, Horn or Antler.
Class 6 Fancy Thumb Stick, Wood, Horn or Antler.
Class 7 Half-Head Stick, Horn Headed.
Class 8 Plain Natural Wood Head Walking Stick.
Class 9 Fancy Natural Wood Head Walking Stick.
Class 10 Best Wood Stick. Novice.
Class 11 Best Horn Stick. Novice.
Class 12 Plain Two Piece Wood Head Walking Stick.
Class 13 Fancy Two Piece Wood Head Walking Stick
Class 14 Fish Stick.
Class 15 Ladies Stick.
Class 16 Plain Buffalo Horn Stick.
Class 17 Fancy Buffalo Horn Stick.
Class 18 Wood Headed Stick.
Class 19 Horn or Antler Headed Stick.
Class 20 Stick made by a Lady
NB. Classes 18 and 19 are only open to a competitor who has not previously won any
prize at the BSDA Annual Show
The Norman Tulip Perpetual Cup for Best Stick (BSDA)
The Rupert Spier Cup for Most Points in Show (TAS)
Hugh Devlin Perpetual Trophy for Best Novice Stick (BSDA)
Northumberland County Agricultural Society Cup for Most Points in Novice
Section (TAS)
All the above trophies to be held for one year only, and the winner to be responsible
for having the name engraved on the trophy

ENTRIES TO BE STAGED BY 10 AM ON 4th June
LIFTING TIME 4.30 PM
No Sticks that have been bought in to be shown.
Only Stewards and Judges will be allowed behind the barrier.
Stewards will be wearing Badges. It has been decided, in the interest of safety of
the sticks, only stewards will be able to hand them out at the end of show on return
of numbered ticket.
The BSDA and Northumberland County Show do not accept liability for damage or
loss to persons or to their property.
